Steps
- If using fresh fava beans, remove them from their pods. If using frozen, thaw them and set aside.
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fava beans and cook for about 5-7 minutes until tender.
- Drain the fava beans and rinse them under cold water to stop the cooking process.
- In a bowl, combine the chopped mint leaves, minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, sea salt, and black pepper.
