- Baking powder - 1 teaspoon

- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
- Almonds - 30 grams, sliced (for topping)
- Honey - 2 tablespoons (for drizzling)
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a small round cake pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, all-purpose flour, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar together until pale and frothy.
- Add the chopped dates and vanilla extract to the egg mixture, stirring well to combine.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
