- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley, chopped - 2 tablespoons
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon (for cooking)
- Avocado - 1 medium (for topping)
- Tomato, sliced - 1 medium
- Red onion, sliced - 1/4 medium
- Lettuce leaves - 4 large (for wrapping)
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, cumin powder, coriander powder, paprika, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties, about 2 cm thick.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
- While the burgers are cooking, prepare the toppings by slicing the avocado, tomato, and red onion.
- Once cooked, remove the patties from the skillet and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
- To serve, place each burger patty on a large lettuce leaf, top with slices of avocado, tomato, and red onion, and wrap the lettuce around the filling.
