Ingredients

  • Cauliflower - 1 medium head (about 500g)
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons (30ml)
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon (5g)
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon (5g)
  • Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon (2.5g)
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon (3g)
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon (1g)
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped (8g)
  • Lemon - 1, juiced (about 30ml)

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).
  2. Wash and cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, ground cumin, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Add the cauliflower florets to the bowl and toss well until they are evenly coated with the spice mixture.
  5. Spread the cauliflower in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cauliflower is tender and golden brown, flipping halfway through cooking.
  7. Remove from the oven and drizzle with fresh lemon juice.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
