  • Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Chopped fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons
  • Toasted almond slivers - 30 grams

Steps

  1. In a saucepan, bring 250 milliliters of water to a boil, then add 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
  2. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the couscous, raisins, 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon, and 1/2 teaspoon of cumin.
  3. Cover the saucepan and let it sit for about 10 minutes until the couscous absorbs the water.
  4. Fluff the couscous with a fork and drizzle 2 tablespoons of olive oil over it, mixing well.
  5. Season with black pepper and stir in the chopped fresh parsley and toasted almond slivers.
