Ingredients

  • Ground beef - 250 grams
  • Couscous - 50 grams
  • Boiling water - 100 ml
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Burger buns - 2

Steps

  1. In a small bowl, combine the couscous with 100 ml of boiling water, cover, and let it sit for about 5 minutes until fluffy.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, cooked couscous, parsley, cilantro, garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix the ingredients until well combined, then form the mixture into 2 equal-sized patties.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
  5. While the patties are cooking, toast the burger buns in a separate skillet or oven until golden.
  6. Assemble the burgers by placing each beef couscous patty on a toasted bun and topping with your favorite condiments and vegetables.
