  • Chicken breast - 400 grams
  • Fresh cilantro - 30 grams, chopped
  • Lime juice - 30 ml (about 1 lime)
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons (30 ml)
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red chili flakes - 1/2 teaspoon (optional)
  • Lime wedges - for serving

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine chopped cilantro, lime juice, olive oil, minced garlic, ground cumin, paprika, salt, black pepper, and red chili flakes (if using) to create the marinade.
  2. Cut the chicken breast into even pieces and add them to the marinade, ensuring they are thoroughly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the excess marinade.
  5. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F).
  6. Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  7. Serve with lime wedges on the side.
