- Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
- Lemon zest - 1 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Whole grain burger buns - 2
- Tomato, sliced - 1 medium
- Red onion, thinly sliced - 1/2 small
- Lettuce leaves - 2

Steps
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb, chopped cilantro, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and have a nice brown crust.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the burger buns by toasting them lightly on a separate skillet or toaster.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by the cooked patty, sliced tomato, red onion, and avocado. Top with the other half of the bun.
- Serve immediately with your favorite side or enjoy as is.
