Ingredients

  • Button mushrooms - 250 grams
  • Fresh cilantro - 30 grams, chopped
  • Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth and remove the stems if desired, then set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped cilantro, minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  3. Add the mushrooms to the bowl and toss them until they are evenly coated with the marinade.
  4. Cover the bowl and let the mushrooms marinate for at least 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  5. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat.
  6. Once hot, place the marinated mushrooms on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are tender and have nice grill marks.
  7. Remove from the grill and serve immediately, garnished with additional chopped cilantro if desired.
