Chicken Skewers

Ingredients
- Chicken breast - 300 grams, cubed
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Ground cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Wooden skewers - 4 (soaked in water for 30 minutes)
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, cinnamon, salt, and black pepper to make the marinade.
- Add the cubed chicken breast to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
- Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated chicken onto the soaked wooden skewers, packing them closely but not too tight.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
- Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve with your choice of side.
