Ingredients
- White fish fillets (e.g., snapper or cod) - 400 grams
- Fresh cilantro - 30 grams
- Fresh parsley - 30 grams
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cayenne pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Olive oil - 4 tablespoons
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
Steps
- In a food processor, combine the cilantro, parsley, garlic, ground cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth to create the chermoula marinade.
- Place the fish fillets in a shallow dish and pour the chermoula marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.
- Remove the fish from the marinade and let any excess drip off. Place the fillets on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
- Once cooked, remove the fish from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving. Serve with lemon wedges and a side of your choice.
