- White fish fillets (such as cod or haddock) - 300 grams
- Fresh cilantro - 30 grams
- Fresh parsley - 30 grams
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cayenne pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Olive oil - 3 tablespoons
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
Steps
- In a food processor, combine cilantro, parsley, garlic, cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Blend until you have a smooth paste.
- Place the fish fillets in a shallow dish and pour the chermoula marinade over the top. Ensure the fish is well coated. Cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the fish from the marinade and let any excess drip off. Discard the remaining marinade.
- Place the fish fillets on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Serve the chermoula fish with a side of grilled vegetables or a fresh salad.
