- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Garlic - 1 clove, minced
Steps
- In a large bowl, mix the whole wheat flour, salt, and ground cumin together.
- Gradually add warm water and olive oil to the flour mixture, stirring until a dough begins to form.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
- Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 15 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, combine the grated carrots, minced garlic, ground coriander, black pepper, and chopped cilantro.
- Divide the rested dough into two equal portions and roll each portion into a circle about 1/4 inch thick.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Place one rolled-out flatbread in the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Repeat the cooking process for the second flatbread.
