- Cayenne pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Water - 100 ml
Steps
- Begin by peeling the carrots and cutting them into thin rounds or julienne strips for even cooking.
- In a medium saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the carrots and sauté for about 5 minutes until they begin to soften.
- Stir in the ground cumin, ground coriander, paprika, cayenne pepper, and salt. Cook for an additional 2 minutes until the spices are fragrant.
