  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cayenne pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Water - 100 ml

Steps

  1. Begin by peeling the carrots and cutting them into thin rounds or julienne strips for even cooking.
  2. In a medium saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the carrots and sauté for about 5 minutes until they begin to soften.
  3. Stir in the ground cumin, ground coriander, paprika, cayenne pepper, and salt. Cook for an additional 2 minutes until the spices are fragrant.
