Ingredients

  • Almond flour - 100g
  • Cream cheese - 50g
  • Almonds, finely chopped - 50g
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • Stevia or erythritol - 2 tsp (to taste)
  • Butter, melted - 30g
  • Egg wash (1 egg beaten with 1 tbsp water) - 1 serving

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, cream cheese, and chopped almonds. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Add the egg, cinnamon, and sweetener to the dough, mixing until well combined.
  4. Divide the dough into small balls (about the size of a walnut). Roll each ball into a thin sheet using a rolling pin.
  5. Place a small spoonful of the almond mixture on one end of each sheet and roll it up, sealing the edges with a little water.
  6. Arrange the rolled briwat on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Brush the tops with the egg wash and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
