Ingredients
- Almond flour - 100g
- Cream cheese - 50g
- Almonds, finely chopped - 50g
- Egg - 1 large
- Cinnamon - 1 tsp
- Stevia or erythritol - 2 tsp (to taste)
- Butter, melted - 30g
- Egg wash (1 egg beaten with 1 tbsp water) - 1 serving
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, cream cheese, and chopped almonds. Mix until a dough forms.
- Add the egg, cinnamon, and sweetener to the dough, mixing until well combined.
- Divide the dough into small balls (about the size of a walnut). Roll each ball into a thin sheet using a rolling pin.
- Place a small spoonful of the almond mixture on one end of each sheet and roll it up, sealing the edges with a little water.
- Arrange the rolled briwat on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the tops with the egg wash and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
