Ingredients

  • Shrimp, peeled and deveined - 200 grams
  • Rice flour - 100 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Fresh parsley, finely chopped - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic, minced - 1 clove
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - for frying

Steps

  1. In a bowl, mix the shrimp, parsley, garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  2. In another bowl, mix the rice flour with water and the egg to form a smooth batter.
  3. Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat and add a little olive oil.
  4. Pour a small amount of the batter into the pan, spreading it into a thin layer to form a crepe. Cook until lightly golden, then flip and cook for another minute.
  5. Remove the crepe from the pan and repeat with the remaining batter, adding more oil as needed.
  6. Once all crepes are cooked, place a spoonful of the shrimp mixture on one edge of each crepe and fold it over to form a triangle or roll it up securely.
  7. Heat oil in the frying pan over medium-high heat, and fry the briouates until golden brown and crispy on all sides.
  8. Remove from the pan and drain on paper towels before serving.
