Ingredients
- Gluten-free pastry sheets - 6 sheets
- Feta cheese - 100 grams, crumbled
- Ricotta cheese - 100 grams
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
- Egg - 1, beaten (for sealing)
- Olive oil - for frying
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the crumbled feta cheese, ricotta cheese, chopped parsley, cumin, paprika, black pepper, and salt. Mix until well combined.
- Take one gluten-free pastry sheet and cut it into 3 equal strips. Place a tablespoon of the cheese mixture at one end of each strip.
- Fold the pastry over the filling to form a triangle, then continue folding the triangle along the strip until you reach the end. Seal the edges with beaten egg.
- Repeat the process for all pastry sheets and cheese filling.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Fry the briouates in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels. Serve warm.
