- Gluten-free phyllo dough - 6 sheets
- Feta cheese - 100 grams, crumbled
- Ricotta cheese - 100 grams
- Fresh parsley - 30 grams, chopped
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
- Egg - 1, beaten (for sealing)
- Olive oil - for frying
Steps
- In a bowl, mix the crumbled feta, ricotta, chopped parsley, cumin, black pepper, and salt until well combined.
- Lay out one sheet of gluten-free phyllo dough on a clean surface and brush lightly with olive oil. Repeat this process with a second sheet, stacking them.
- Cut the stacked sheets into 3 equal strips.
- Place a tablespoon of the cheese mixture at one end of each strip and fold the sides over the filling, then roll tightly to form a triangle shape. Seal the edges with beaten egg.
- Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the briouates for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove from the pan and place on paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve warm.
