Ingredients

  • Ground lamb - 200 grams
  • Almond flour - 100 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Butter - 2 tablespoons, melted

Steps

  1. In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  2. Add ground lamb to the skillet, season with cumin, paprika, cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Remove the skillet from heat and stir in chopped parsley. Allow the mixture to cool slightly.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour with the egg and mix well to form a dough.
  5. Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and roll each portion into a thin circle on a parchment paper.
  6. Place a spoonful of the lamb filling in the center of each circle, then fold the dough over to form a triangle, sealing the edges with a fork.
  7. Brush each briouat with melted butter and the remaining olive oil.
  8. Preheat the BBQ or grill to medium heat. Place the briouats on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown and crispy.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy your keto-friendly briouat pastries!
