Ingredients
- Almond flour - 150 grams
- Eggs - 2 large
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Ground beef - 200 grams
- Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Egg wash (1 egg, beaten) - 1
Steps
- In a bowl, combine almond flour, 2 eggs, and olive oil to form a dough. Knead until smooth and let it rest for 10 minutes.
- In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the onion and garlic until translucent. Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
- Stir in cinnamon, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, then mix in the chopped parsley and remove from heat.
- Roll out the rested dough between two sheets of parchment paper until thin. Cut into squares (about 10cm x 10cm).
- Place a tablespoon of the beef filling in the center of each square, fold diagonally to form a triangle, and seal the edges with a fork.
- Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F). Arrange the briouats on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, brush with the egg wash.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve warm.
