- Almonds - 100 grams, ground
- Walnuts - 50 grams, ground
- Sugar - 50 grams
- Cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
- Orange blossom water - 2 tablespoons
- Egg - 1, beaten (for sealing)
- Gluten-free rice paper - 6 sheets
- Butter - 30 grams, melted (for brushing)
- Honey - 2 tablespoons (for drizzling)
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the ground almonds, ground walnuts, sugar, cinnamon, and orange blossom water. Mix well until fully combined.
- Lay a sheet of gluten-free rice paper on a clean surface and brush lightly with melted butter.
- Place a tablespoon of the nut mixture on one edge of the sheet and fold the sides over it, then roll it up tightly to form a small parcel. Seal the edges with beaten egg.
- Repeat the process with the remaining rice paper sheets and filling until all are used.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a little more melted butter.
- Fry the briouats in batches until they are golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels.
- Drizzle with honey before serving warm.
