- Rose water - 1 tablespoon
- Egg - 1 (beaten)
- Rice paper sheets - 4 sheets
- Honey - 50 grams
- Water - 50 ml
- Butter - 20 grams (melted)
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, powdered sugar, cinnamon, and rose water to form a smooth filling.
- Add the beaten egg to the almond mixture and mix well until fully incorporated.
- Soak the rice paper sheets in warm water for about 10 seconds until soft and pliable.
- Lay a soaked rice paper sheet on a clean surface and place about 1 tablespoon of the almond filling at the edge.
- Fold the edges over the filling and roll it up tightly to form a cigar shape. Repeat with the remaining sheets and filling.
- In a skillet, heat the melted butter over medium heat. Fry the briouats for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
- In a small saucepan, combine honey and water, and heat gently until well mixed.
- Once the briouats are fried, immediately dip them in the honey mixture, making sure they are well coated.
- Serve warm, drizzled with any remaining honey sauce.
