Ingredients
- Phyllo dough - 4 sheets
- Low-fat ricotta cheese - 150 grams
- Feta cheese - 50 grams, crumbled
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Fresh mint - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Garlic - 1 clove, minced
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1/4 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, crumbled feta cheese, chopped parsley, chopped mint, minced garlic, black pepper, and cumin. Mix well until smooth.
- Lay one sheet of phyllo dough on a clean surface and brush it lightly with olive oil. Place another sheet on top and brush it again with olive oil.
- Cut the layered phyllo dough into strips about 10 cm wide.
- Place a tablespoon of the cheese mixture at one end of each strip, fold the sides over the filling, and roll it up to form a triangle. Continue folding the triangle down the strip until you reach the end. Seal with a little olive oil.
- Place the filled briouats on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with olive oil and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
