- milk - 120 ml, warm
- eggs - 2 large
- unsalted butter - 50 grams, melted
- orange blossom water - 1 tablespoon
- honey - 2 tablespoons
- cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
- powdered sugar - for dusting
Steps
- In a bowl, combine warm milk, active dry yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and salt.
- Make a well in the center of the flour mixture and add the frothy yeast mixture, eggs, melted butter, and orange blossom water.
- Mix the ingredients until a sticky dough forms, then knead on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- After the dough has risen, punch it down and shape it into a round loaf or individual rolls.
