Ingredients

  • White fish fillets (like cod or haddock) - 300 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - ½ teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Skewers - 4 (if using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes)

Steps

  1. Cut the fish fillets into bite-sized cubes and place them in a bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the olive oil, chopped parsley, minced garlic, ground cumin, paprika, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice to create a marinade.
  3. Pour the marinade over the fish cubes and gently toss to coat them evenly. Cover and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Preheat the grill or a grill pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Thread the marinated fish cubes onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
  6. Grill the skewers for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
  7. Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
