Steps
- Rinse the dried fava beans under cold water, then soak them in water for at least 8 hours or overnight.
- After soaking, drain the beans and place them in a pot with 1 liter of fresh water. Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer for about 30 minutes, or until the beans are tender.
- Once cooked, drain the beans and transfer them to a blender or food processor. Add the minced garlic, cumin powder, salt, and a little water as needed to achieve a smooth, creamy consistency.
