Steps
- Soak the dried fava beans in water overnight or for at least 8 hours.
- Drain and rinse the soaked fava beans, then place them in a pot with 500 milliliters of fresh water.
- Bring the water to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 30 minutes, or until the beans are soft.
- Once cooked, drain the beans and place them in a blender or food processor.
- Add minced garlic, cumin powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice to the blender.
- Blend until smooth, adding a little water if necessary to achieve a creamy consistency.
