Ingredients

  • Beef sirloin - 400 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Bell peppers - 1 medium, cut into chunks
  • Red onion - 1 small, cut into chunks
  • Skewers - 4

Steps

  1. Cut the beef sirloin into 2.5 cm cubes and place them in a bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, cinnamon, salt, black pepper, parsley, and lemon juice to create a marinade.
  3. Pour the marinade over the beef and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes (or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator for more flavor).
  4. While the beef is marinating, soak the skewers in water for 10 minutes if using wooden skewers to prevent burning.
  5. Preheat the grill or a grill pan over medium-high heat.
  6. Thread the marinated beef, bell peppers, and red onion onto the skewers, alternating between the beef and vegetables.
  7. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the beef is cooked to your desired doneness.
  8. Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
