Ingredients
- Beef sirloin - 400 grams
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Ground cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Bell peppers - 1 medium, cut into chunks
- Red onion - 1 small, cut into chunks
- Skewers - 4
Steps
- Cut the beef sirloin into 2.5 cm cubes and place them in a bowl.
- In a separate bowl, mix the olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, cinnamon, salt, black pepper, parsley, and lemon juice to create a marinade.
- Pour the marinade over the beef and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes (or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator for more flavor).
- While the beef is marinating, soak the skewers in water for 10 minutes if using wooden skewers to prevent burning.
- Preheat the grill or a grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated beef, bell peppers, and red onion onto the skewers, alternating between the beef and vegetables.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the beef is cooked to your desired doneness.
- Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
