- Cauliflower - 300 grams
- Mozzarella cheese (shredded) - 100 grams
- Parmesan cheese (grated) - 30 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Ground beef - 200 grams
- Onion (finely chopped) - 1 small
- Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
- Ras el Hanout spice blend - 1 tablespoon
- Canned diced tomatoes - 100 grams
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Fresh parsley (chopped) - for garnish
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Grate the cauliflower using a food processor or box grater, then steam it for about 5 minutes until tender. Let it cool slightly.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the steamed cauliflower, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and the egg. Mix until well combined and season with salt and pepper.
- Spread the cauliflower mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, shaping it into a pizza crust about 1 cm thick. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- While the crust is baking, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until translucent.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Stir in the ras el hanout and canned tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper, then simmer for 5-7 minutes.
- Once the crust is done, remove it from the oven and spread the beef tagine mixture evenly over the top.
- Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes until heated through.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
