Ingredients

  • beef sirloin - 300 grams, cut into 2.5 cm cubes
  • olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • ground cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
  • salt - 1 teaspoon
  • black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • skewers - 4 (soaked in water if wooden)

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, smoked paprika, ground cinnamon, salt, black pepper, chopped parsley, and lemon juice to create a marinade.
  2. Add the beef cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes (or up to 2 hours for more flavor).
  3. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated beef cubes onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece for even cooking.
  5. Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the beef is cooked to your desired level of doneness (medium-rare is recommended).
  6. Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
