Ingredients

  • Whole wheat pizza dough - 200 grams
  • Cooked chicken breast, shredded - 150 grams
  • Almonds, chopped - 30 grams
  • Onion, finely chopped - 1 medium
  • Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
  • Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Egg, beaten - 1 large
  • Fresh parsley, chopped - 2 tablespoons
  • Feta cheese, crumbled - 50 grams
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Tomato sauce - 100 grams
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish - optional

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until softened.
  3. Add the shredded chicken, cinnamon, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove from heat and mix in the beaten egg, chopped parsley, and chopped almonds until well combined.
  5. Roll out the whole wheat pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  6. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a small border around the edge.
  7. Evenly distribute the chicken mixture over the sauce, then sprinkle crumbled feta cheese on top.
  8. Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is slightly melted.
  9. Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, and garnish with fresh cilantro if desired before slicing and serving.
