  • Almond flour - 50 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
  • Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine diced chicken, minced garlic, chopped onion, cilantro, cumin, cinnamon, paprika, salt, black pepper, olive oil, and lemon juice. Mix well and let marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat.
  3. Shape the marinated chicken mixture into small bite-sized patties, about 3 cm in diameter.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg. Dip each chicken patty into the egg, then coat with almond flour for a crispy exterior.
  5. Place the patties on the heated grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
  6. Remove from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
