  • Ground lamb - 250 grams
  • Breadcrumbs - 50 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
  • Parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Tomato sauce - 200 grams
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground lamb, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, chopped onion, parsley, cilantro, cumin, cinnamon, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Mix the ingredients thoroughly until well combined, then shape the mixture into meatballs, about 5 cm in diameter.
  4. Place the meatballs on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  5. Drizzle the meatballs with olive oil and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. While the meatballs are baking, heat the tomato sauce in a small saucepan over medium heat until warmed through.
  7. Serve the baked meatballs drizzled with the warm tomato sauce.
