- Breadcrumbs - 50 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
- Parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Tomato sauce - 200 grams
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground lamb, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, chopped onion, parsley, cilantro, cumin, cinnamon, salt, and black pepper.
- Mix the ingredients thoroughly until well combined, then shape the mixture into meatballs, about 5 cm in diameter.
- Place the meatballs on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Drizzle the meatballs with olive oil and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- While the meatballs are baking, heat the tomato sauce in a small saucepan over medium heat until warmed through.
- Serve the baked meatballs drizzled with the warm tomato sauce.
