- Calamari - 100 grams, cleaned and diced
- Scallops - 100 grams, diced
- Lime juice - 60 ml (about 4 tablespoons)
- Red onion - 50 grams, finely diced
- Tomato - 1 medium, diced
- Cilantro - 15 grams, chopped
- Cucumber - 1 small, diced
- Avocado - 1 medium, diced
- Jalapeño - 1 small, finely chopped
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Pepper - to taste
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the shrimp, calamari, and scallops with lime juice. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes until the seafood turns opaque.
- Remove the mixture from the refrigerator and add the diced red onion, tomato, cucumber, cilantro, jalapeño, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine all ingredients.
- Taste the ceviche mixture and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- To serve, place 2 tostadas on each plate and generously top them with the ceviche mixture.
- Finish with diced avocado on top of each tostada and garnish with additional cilantro if desired.
