Ingredients

  • Beef steak (sirloin or flank) - 300 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Bell pepper (mixed colors) - 1 medium, sliced
  • Red onion - 1 small, thinly sliced
  • Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
  • Avocado - 1 medium, sliced
  • Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped

Steps

  1. Marinate the beef steak in a mixture of olive oil, lime juice, garlic powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Grill the marinated steak for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes.
  4. While the steak is resting, grill the bell pepper and onion slices for about 3-4 minutes until slightly charred and softened.
  5. Slice the grilled steak thinly against the grain.
  6. To assemble, place the sliced steak on a plate, top with grilled bell peppers, onions, halved cherry tomatoes, and avocado slices.
  7. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve immediately.
