  • Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Lime - 1, juiced
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salsa verde - 4 tablespoons

Steps

  1. In a bowl, mix the ground halal beef with salt, black pepper, and cumin until well combined.
  2. Form the beef mixture into two equal-sized patties.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.
  4. While the patties are cooking, toast the corn tortillas in a separate skillet for about 1-2 minutes on each side until they are crispy.
