- Avocado (sliced) - 1/2 medium
- Chili powder - 1 teaspoon
- Ground cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, egg, and half of the mozzarella cheese. Mix until a dough forms.
- Spread the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, shaping it into a large, thin round crust.
- Brush the crust with olive oil and bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove the crust from the oven and spread the refried black beans evenly over the top.
- Top the beans with the shredded chicken, remaining mozzarella cheese, cherry tomatoes, and sprinkle with chili powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
- Return the tlayuda to the oven and bake for an additional 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, and let it cool slightly before adding sliced avocado and fresh cilantro.
- Drizzle with lime juice, slice, and serve warm.
