  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Corn tortillas - 4 pieces
  • Red cabbage - 100 grams, shredded
  • Avocado - 1 medium, sliced
  • Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Lime - 1, cut into wedges
  • Salsa (optional) - to taste

Steps

  1. Press the tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut it into bite-sized cubes.
  2. In a bowl, mix the olive oil, smoked paprika, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Add the cubed tofu to the bowl and toss until all pieces are well coated with the seasoning mixture.
  4. Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add the seasoned tofu. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and crispy.
  5. While the tofu is cooking, warm the corn tortillas in a separate skillet over low heat for about 1-2 minutes on each side.
  6. To assemble the tacos, place crispy tofu on each tortilla, then top with shredded red cabbage, avocado slices, and chopped cilantro.
  7. Serve with lime wedges and salsa on the side for added flavor.
