- Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Corn tortillas - 4 small
- Lime - 1, cut into wedges
- Fresh cilantro - a handful, chopped
- Avocado - 1, sliced
Steps
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until translucent.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the sliced Portobello and Cremini mushrooms to the skillet, cooking for about 8-10 minutes until tender and golden brown.
- Sprinkle in the cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper, stirring to combine, and cook for another 2 minutes.
- While the mushrooms are cooking, warm the corn tortillas in a separate skillet or microwave until pliable.
- Assemble the tacos by placing a generous spoonful of the mushroom mixture onto each tortilla.
- Top with sliced avocado and chopped cilantro, and serve with lime wedges on the side.
