Ingredients

  • Ground beef - 250 grams
  • Corn tortillas - 4 pieces
  • Fresh cilantro - 50 grams
  • Garlic - 2 cloves
  • Jalapeño - 1 small, seeds removed
  • Lime - 1, juiced
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Onion - 1 small, finely chopped

Steps

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté the chopped onion until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  2. Add the ground beef to the skillet, season with salt and black pepper, and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. While the beef is cooking, prepare the cilantro sauce by blending together cilantro, garlic, jalapeño, lime juice, and a pinch of salt in a food processor until smooth.
  4. Once the beef is fully cooked, pour the cilantro sauce over the beef, stir well, and let it simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
  5. Warm the corn tortillas on a dry skillet for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable.
  6. Assemble the tacos by placing a generous spoonful of the beef mixture into each tortilla and serve immediately.
