  • beef flank steak - 300 grams
  • lime juice - 30 ml
  • garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • salt - 1 teaspoon
  • black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • corn tortillas - 4 small
  • fresh cilantro - 20 grams
  • onion - 50 grams, diced
  • salsa verde - 50 grams
  • avocado - 1 medium, sliced

Steps

  1. Marinate the beef flank steak in lime juice, garlic powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Place the marinated steak on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until it reaches your desired doneness.
  4. Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing it thinly against the grain.
  5. While the steak is resting, warm the corn tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side.
  6. Assemble the tacos by placing sliced beef on each tortilla, then topping with diced onion, fresh cilantro, avocado slices, and salsa verde.
  7. Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.
