Ingredients

  • Beef flank steak - 300 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Corn tortillas - 4 pieces (6-inch size)
  • Fresh cilantro - 1/4 cup, chopped
  • Lime - 1, cut into wedges
  • Onion - 1/2 cup, finely chopped
  • Radishes - 1/2 cup, sliced

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade for the beef.
  2. Coat the flank steak with the marinade and let it sit for at least 10 minutes.
  3. Preheat a griddle or skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Cook the marinated flank steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.
  5. Remove the steak from the heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing it thinly against the grain.
  6. While the steak is resting, warm the corn tortillas on the griddle for about 30 seconds on each side.
  7. Assemble the tacos by placing sliced steak on each tortilla, then top with chopped onions, cilantro, and sliced radishes.
  8. Serve with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the tacos.
