  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Corn tortillas - 4 small
  • Fresh cilantro - 1/4 cup, chopped
  • Red onion - 1/4 cup, diced
  • Tomato - 1 medium, diced
  • Avocado - 1 small, sliced
  • Sour cream - 2 tablespoons (optional)

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  2. Add the chicken breast to the marinade, ensuring it is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and grill for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 75°C.
  5. Once cooked, let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing it into thin strips.
  6. While the chicken is resting, warm the corn tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side.
  7. Assemble the tacos by placing the sliced chicken on the warm tortillas, and topping with chopped cilantro, diced red onion, diced tomato, and avocado slices.
  8. Serve with a dollop of sour cream if desired.
