Ingredients

  • White fish fillets (such as tilapia or cod) - 200 grams
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Corn tortillas - 4 small (about 20 cm diameter)
  • Ripe avocado - 1 medium
  • Lime - 1 medium (juiced)
  • Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons (chopped)
  • Tomato - 1 small (diced)
  • Red onion - 2 tablespoons (finely chopped)
  • Radishes - 4 (thinly sliced)

Steps

  1. Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  3. Coat the fish fillets with the marinade and let them sit for about 5 minutes.
  4. Place the marinated fish in the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and flaky.
  5. While the fish is cooking, prepare the guacamole by mashing the avocado in a bowl and mixing in lime juice, chopped cilantro, diced tomato, and red onion. Season with salt to taste.
  6. Once the fish is done, warm the corn tortillas in a separate pan for about 30 seconds on each side.
  7. Assemble the tacos by placing a portion of the cooked fish on each tortilla, topping with guacamole and sliced radishes.
  8. Serve immediately with extra lime wedges on the side.
