Ingredients

  • White fish fillets (like tilapia or cod) - 250 grams
  • Fresh cilantro - 30 grams, chopped
  • Lime juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Corn tortillas - 4 pieces
  • Red cabbage - 50 grams, thinly sliced
  • Avocado - 1 medium, sliced
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine the fish fillets, lime juice, minced garlic, chopped cilantro, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and let it marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Cook the marinated fish for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and flaky.
  3. While the fish is cooking, warm the corn tortillas in a separate pan for about 30 seconds on each side until soft.
  4. Once the fish is cooked, break it into large chunks.
  5. Assemble the tacos by placing some fish on each tortilla, then add a layer of sliced red cabbage and top with avocado slices.
  6. Serve immediately with additional lime wedges on the side.
