Ingredients
- White fish fillets (such as tilapia or cod) - 200 grams
- Chipotle peppers in adobo sauce - 2 peppers
- Lime juice - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Corn tortillas - 4 small
- Cabbage - 100 grams, shredded
- Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Avocado - 1, sliced
- Radishes - 4, thinly sliced
Steps
- In a blender, combine the chipotle peppers, lime juice, minced garlic, olive oil, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth to create a marinade.
- Place the fish fillets in a shallow dish and pour the chipotle marinade over them. Make sure the fish is well coated, then cover and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
- While the fish is marinating, prepare the toppings by shredding the cabbage, chopping the cilantro, and slicing the avocado and radishes.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated fish fillets and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Warm the corn tortillas in a dry skillet for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable.
- To assemble the tacos, place a portion of the cooked fish on each tortilla. Top with shredded cabbage, cilantro, avocado slices, and radish slices.
- Serve immediately with extra lime wedges on the side.
