Ingredients

  • White fish fillets (such as tilapia or cod) - 200 grams
  • Chipotle peppers in adobo sauce - 2 peppers
  • Lime juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Corn tortillas - 4 small
  • Cabbage - 100 grams, shredded
  • Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Avocado - 1, sliced
  • Radishes - 4, thinly sliced

Steps

  1. In a blender, combine the chipotle peppers, lime juice, minced garlic, olive oil, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth to create a marinade.
  2. Place the fish fillets in a shallow dish and pour the chipotle marinade over them. Make sure the fish is well coated, then cover and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
  3. While the fish is marinating, prepare the toppings by shredding the cabbage, chopping the cilantro, and slicing the avocado and radishes.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated fish fillets and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Warm the corn tortillas in a dry skillet for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable.
  6. To assemble the tacos, place a portion of the cooked fish on each tortilla. Top with shredded cabbage, cilantro, avocado slices, and radish slices.
  7. Serve immediately with extra lime wedges on the side.
