Ingredients
- White fish fillets (such as tilapia or cod) - 300 grams
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Lime juice - 2 tablespoons
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Corn tortillas - 4 small
- Fresh cilantro - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Red onion - 1/4 cup, thinly sliced
- Avocado - 1, sliced
- Radishes - 4, thinly sliced (for garnish)
Steps
- In a bowl, combine minced garlic, lime juice, olive oil, ground cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
- Add the white fish fillets to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- While the fish is marinating, prepare the toppings: chop the cilantro, thinly slice the red onion, and slice the avocado and radishes.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated fish fillets and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove the fish from the skillet and break it into bite-sized pieces.
- Warm the corn tortillas in the same skillet for about 30 seconds on each side until they are pliable.
- Assemble the tacos by placing pieces of fish on each tortilla, then top with chopped cilantro, sliced red onion, avocado, and radishes.
- Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.
