Ingredients

  • White fish fillets (such as tilapia or cod) - 300 grams
  • Lime juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Chipotle in adobo sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Corn tortillas - 4 small
  • Cabbage - 100 grams, thinly sliced
  • Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Avocado - 1, sliced
  • Radishes - 4, thinly sliced

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine the lime juice, minced garlic, chipotle in adobo sauce, olive oil, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  2. Add the fish fillets to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. While the fish is marinating, prepare your toppings by slicing the cabbage, avocado, and radishes, and chopping the cilantro.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the marinated fish fillets and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Remove the fish from the skillet and flake it into bite-sized pieces.
  6. Warm the corn tortillas in the same skillet for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable.
  7. To assemble the tacos, place a generous portion of the flaked fish on each tortilla and top with sliced cabbage, avocado, radishes, and chopped cilantro.
  8. Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.
