- Duck breast - 250 grams
- Corn tortillas - 4 pieces
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Chili powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Red onion - 50 grams, diced
- Cilantro - 20 grams, chopped
- Lime - 1, juiced
- Avocado - 1 small, sliced
Steps
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Add olive oil and minced garlic, sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Season the duck breast with cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Place the duck breast skin-side down in the skillet and cook for about 6-8 minutes until the skin is crispy.
- Flip the duck breast and continue cooking for another 5-7 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 65°C. Remove from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- While the duck rests, warm the corn tortillas in a separate pan for about 30 seconds on each side until soft.
- Slice the duck breast thinly. Assemble the tacos by placing slices of duck on each tortilla, topped with diced red onion, chopped cilantro, and avocado slices.
- Drizzle lime juice over the tacos and serve immediately.
