- Corn tortillas - 4 pieces
- Shrimp, peeled and deveined - 150 grams
- Scallops - 100 grams
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
- Lime juice - 2 tablespoons
- Cilantro, chopped - 2 tablespoons
- Red onion, finely diced - 50 grams
- Avocado, sliced - 1 small
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Crushed red pepper flakes - 1 teaspoon
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the shrimp, scallops, olive oil, minced garlic, lime juice, salt, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes. Mix well and let marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated seafood and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp are pink and the scallops are opaque.
- While the seafood is cooking, warm the corn tortillas in a separate pan for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable.
- Once the seafood is cooked, remove from heat and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
- Assemble the tacos by placing a portion of the grilled seafood on each tortilla. Top with chopped cilantro, diced red onion, and avocado slices.
- Serve immediately with extra lime wedges on the side.
